bloggin…
this blog came to being by popular demand from my instagram following (definitely out of my comfort zone!). i am a busy working mom with two kids (oliver jonah, 3 1/2 and amelie elle, 7 months). i am motivated by the desire to feed my family non-processed, healthy, natural foods and only make one dinner per night. many of my recipes are modified versions of recipes ive tried so i will always try to cite the original source. props to alexandra zohn who taught me so much about the importance of cooking and baking with no sugar or processed ingredients, dr. mark houllif, who taught me about shifting proportions (veggie to protein) , dr. michel cohen who dispelled the myth that children should eat oversimplified “kiddie foods,” and the city of paris which has always inspired me to prepare food beautifully…because even toddlers prefer to eat something aesthetically pleasing! enjoy. xoxo. gourMaya
